INTERNSHIP/VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Parks and Recreation Internships

Do you enjoy working with kids, serving the community, and making a difference? If you're affiliated with a Parks and Recreation program/degree, then this is the opportunity for you! We work with each student individually to develop a successful and rewarding internship experience. Internship Description.

Internships are available all year round. Opportunities include: program planning and implementation; leadership techniques and skills; budgetary processes; and marketing and public relations. Interns receive $100/week stipend and housing is included.

Volunteer Coaches

Do you understand the importance of being a positive role model? If so, please consider helping develop our youth through multiple sports programs. Tahoe City Public Utility District encourages you to invest your time as a volunteer coach in sports such as basketball, volleyball, softball, lacrosse, and more. We'll provide the training. You provide the time and enthusiasm.

Volunteer opportunities are available all year round. Qualifications include: knowledge of the game; leadership techniques and skills; patience; and an interest in youth development over winning at all costs.

Sports Officials/Scorekeepers

Do you like to play by the rules? Tahoe City Public Utility District is always on the lookout for qualified volunteer officials and scorekeepers for our youth sports programs. If you are good with kids, familiar with officiating techniques and want to help young players develop, then you're just the person for the job!

Volunteer opportunities are available all year round. Opportunities include youth basketball and youth lacrosse leagues.
