student individually to develop a successful and rewarding

Instructors at Rideout - What Is a Contract Instructor?
- Instructors with the Tahoe City PUD Parks and Recreation Department are independent contractors.
- The instructor is under contract and is paid a percentage of the gross revenue.
- The instructor sets the class tone and develops the curriculum.
- The PUD provides the facility and promotion of the program.
Instructor Qualifications
The Tahoe City PUD Parks and Recreation Department is committed to offering classes that promote community health and well-being through fun, progressive, and memorable parks and recreation experiences for all ages, abilities and interests.
We are always looking for motivated, energetic and professional contract instructors to teach classes that enhance the mission and goals of the Tahoe City PUD Parks and Recreation Department. An instructor must possess strong teaching skills, be positive, organized, have good communication skills, and demonstrate a desire to develop and promote their program.

Volunteer Coaches
Do you have a love for children and a strong desire to be
a positive role model? Men and women are encouraged to invest
their time as volunteer coaches in volleyball, basketball,
and softball. You provide the time and enthusiasm, we provide
the training. Fingerprinting is required.
